All staff hired into Island Kiddie Kampus are highly qualified in Early Childhood Education. Lead teachers have degrees ranging from a Child Development Associate’s Degree through Early Childhood Education Bachelor’s Degree programs.

Staff regularly attend seminars and conferences to keep up with modern trends in education. Classes are offered by the Appelbaum Institute and Childcare Education Institute. Each staff member completes a mandated 24 credit hours as set forth by the Great Start Collaborative for “highly qualified centers.” This amount is double the state requirement of 12 credit hours per year. Staff also complete CPR and First Aid training on a yearly basis.
